J Milan Beauty provides professional Eyelash, brow and makeup services to clients from highly trained staff of Aestheticians. The studio is owned by myself, Jahkeya Goater and is located in Bermudas prime location, Front street.

J Milan Beauty uses our own high quality lash care products and constantly improving our products and service techniques to always give our clients the best experience with us.

I am looking for skilled technicians to join the Glam fam. Several positions are available.

Here’s what we are looking for:

Beauty industry experience, preferably as a lash or brow artist
Willingness to learn new lash and brow techniques
A positive, friendly, upbeat and personable demeanour and attitude
A customer service oriented individual who can communicate professionally at all times with clients, management and co-workers
A professional appearance at all times
Thrives in a fun, team oriented environment
Must have experience with classic, hybrid, volume and mega volume or Russian volume lashes
Have a valid Aesthetician or cosmetology licence or certificate
Must be professionally trained by an accredited academy
At least 1-2 years prior experience

Eyelash Technician Responsibilities:

Design Specific eyelash treatments based on our styles and the clients individual needs
Perform professional eyelash extension sessions
Upholds the standard of sanitation and sterilization as directed by the studios policies and procedures
Understands, promotes and sells J Milan Beauty services including service upgrades or add ons
Creates excellent experiences for any guest in J Milan Beauty with a charismatic, friendly and helpful attitude.
Provides frequency recommendations and education to clients and educated clients on proper lash aftercare
Generated new clientele
Committed to consistently improving skills through a professional development
Must know how to remove eyelash extensions
keep working area clean and tidy
Must know how to fix any situation they are faced.
Know how to do eyelash lifts and tints is a plus but not a must
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols

Eyebrow specialist responsibilities:

Be able to do eyebrow architecture
Be able to tint eyebrow hairs
Be able to reconstruct eyebrows
Be able to properly care for eyebrows.
Must have colour skills , It is important to know how to choose the colour and give the hair the right shade.
Able to wax eyebrows
Able to thread eyebrows
Able to micro-blade or shade eyebrows
Familiar with henna dye
Able to perform brow lamination
Generate a new clientele
Committed to consistently improving skills
Must know how to remove eyelash extensions
keep working area clean and tidy
Must know how to fix any situation they are faced.
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols

Nail technician responsibilities

provide nail care treatments to our customers based on their needs and preferences.

Paint fingernails and toenails
Clean, cut and shape nails
Recommend colors, rhinestones and designs based on each customer’s style
Remove previously applied polish
Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
Sterilize equipment before use
Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts, eyebrow waxing)
Give hand and foot massages
Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)
Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures, airbrushing and gel manicures acrylic services and pedicure services
Knowledge of cosmetology trends
Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
Experience in customer service
High school diploma
Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Art is a plus
